Predicted Wolves line-up to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League
After winning the Championship last year, Wolverhampton Wanderers have established themselves as a force to reckon with in the Premier League this season. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are in red-hot form currently and are unbeaten for the last five games in the top-flight, three out of which were victories.
And they must come out all guns blazing when they make the trip to Selhurst Park to face a rather inconsistent Crystal Palace side that went down 2-1 to Bournemouth in their previous outing.
Team News
One of the most impressive things about Wolves has been their levels of fitness. Barring Helder Costa, who picked up a knock in the last game, Nuno Espirito Santo will have his entire squad of players to select from.
Formation: 3-4-2-1
Manager: Nuno Espirito Santo
Rui Patricio (GK)
The veteran Portuguese has been in scintillating form this season and has established himself as a reliable presence between the sticks with some crucial saves.
Ryan Bennett (RCB)
He has been solid and composed at the back and should start on Saturday.
Conor Coady (CB)
He has been rock-solid at the back and has moved the ball around with his tidy passing. The former Liverpool man should be one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Willy Boly (LCB)
He has been a standout figure at the back with his physicality and aerial ability and Santo must persist with him.
Jonathan Otto (LWB)
He has made a name for himself with his tireless contribution to the defence and the attack and there is no reason why he shouldn’t retain his place.
Ruben Neves (CM)
The youngster has been the standout performer in the midfield with his passing, long-range shooting and has contributed equally on both ends of the pitch.
Joao Moutinho (CM)
He has contributed a lot with his experience and technical abilities in the midfield and he must come good on Saturday.
Matt Doherty (RWB)
The Irishman has been a lively presence down the right and has impressed with his work rate and link-up play.
Diogo Jota (LAM)
He might not have the numbers to speak for his performances but he has worked relentlessly in the final third.
Adama Traore (RAM)
He has shown what he can do with his lightning pace and smooth dribbling abilities. The injury to Helder Costa should open the door for him to get his first start in the Premier League this season.
