UFC 251 is set to take place at Fight Island and here is more about the card, date, live stream and watch details
The UFC says goodbye to the US shores as UFC 251 will take place in the Middle East. The plan for UFC 251 was to be held in Australia but the Covid-19 pandemic made a mess of all scheduled events.
However, Dana White confirmed that Fight Island was being created for international fighters. This is one of several events at the Fight Island, and this event features three title fights.
The UFC is certainly trying to hit this ball out of the park, and here is all you need to know about the date, timing and streaming details of the event.
Fight Island is located in the United Arab Emirates with Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island hosting the fights.
This is one of the many events at the location, and the UFC recently shared a clipping of all the work being done to get the area ready.
UFC 251 takes place on 12 July and features several huge fights. The timing for the same hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the main card could start from 10:00 PM on the night of 11 July.
ESPN+ will be one of the outlets streaming UFC 251 all across the world while the prelim card could be seen on ESPN. Fans in the subcontinent can watch all the fights from Fight Island on Sony Liv too.
UK fans can watch the same on BT Sport while there are other local outlets which can be checked regarding availability.
UFC 251 is a PPV event, however, there could be other regular streaming channels where the fight could be seen too.
The card is split into three sections with 12 fights in all. The main card sees two titles being defended as Kamaru Usman and Alexander Volkanovski come in as champions.
There will also be a new Bantamweight champion crowned as Petr Yan faces Jose Aldo.
