UFC 268: Take a look at the results, winners and ones who received bonuses

The UFC 268 was UFC’s second PPV in two weeks and also promised to be one of the best cards of the year. It lived up to it’s hype as the event witnessed some cracking matches. The event was headlined by the rematch of Colby Covington vs. Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title. Apart from this, Rose Namajunas went up against Zhang Weili to defend her strawweight championship.

The card also had Justin Gaethje go up against Michael Chandler which was supposed to be one of the most explosive lightweight clashes and proved to be exactly that. The card had 14 fights in total which were split up in three sub-cards, the early prelims. prelims and also the main card. With that being said let’s have a look at the results and bonuses from the UFC 268.

• Ode Osbourne defeated CJ Vergara via unanimous decision
• Melsik Baghdasaryan defeated Bruno Souza via unanimous decision
• Dustin Jacoby defeated John Allan via unanimous decision
• Chris Barnett defeated Gian Villante via TKO (head kick, punches)
• Ian Garry defeated Jordan Williams via knockout (punches)

Prelims

UFC 268 Bonus Winners

The UFC were a bit more generous than usual for the fighters on the card. The company handed out four performance of the night bonus instead of the usual two. Along with one fight of the night bonus. Have a look at who won the bonuses:

The first performance of the night bonus went to Chris Barnett. Barnett was facing Gian Villante who was also set to retire after the fight. However, Barnett made sure to spoil his retirement party and knocked him out to walk away with extra $50k.

UFC debutant Alex Pereira continued his hype when he knocked out Andreas Michailidis with a flying knee. His remarkable debut was praised by the UFC and he also received $50k bonus.

The third bonus went to Bobby Green who knocked out Al Iaquinta within the first round itself. The final performance of the night went to Marlon Vera who earned a TKO victory over Frankie Edgar in the third round.

The fight of the night bonus was awarded to Gaethje and Chandler who went on to have a slug fest for 15 minutes. This was really a no brainer to decide. The fight was won by Gaethje at the end via a unanimous decision.
