UFC 267 is history, and the promotion will now return to the United States for UFC 268. The stacked event will take place at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
UFC 268 will be headlined by a high-voltage welterweight title rematch between the champ Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington.
The pair last met at UFC 245, in what was one of the most entertaining title fights of all time. Usman won the fight via. TKO in the very last round.
2 years later, they meet again. Usman has fought thrice after that, beating Jorge Masvidal twice, and Gilbert Burns once.
Covington has fought just once. He beat the now-released Tyron Woodley in late 2020.
The co-main event will see Rose Namajunas defend her strawweight belt against Zhang Weili. ‘Thug Rose’ won the title after beating Weili at UFC 261 in April 2021.
There is a bit of bad blood running between the pair as well.
An explosive lightweight bout also graces the stacked card. Top-ranked lightweights, Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler will clash in an important fight that might see the victor get the ticket for a title shot.
Frankie Edgar makes a return as well. He will take on Marlon Chito Vera, in the first fight of the main card.
