After getting off to a slow start, Oliveira upped the pace in the second and third. He finished Poirier with a standing rear-naked choke in the third round to retain his title.

Cody Garbrandt had a night to forget after his flyweight debut didn’t go as planned. He was knocked out by Kai Kara-France in the very first round.

Sean O’Malley once again lived up to his billing by knocking out Raulian Paiva to bring up his third straight win.
