UFC 275: Let’s look at the results from the event and who all took the $50,000 bonus
Two big title fights were the talking points of the UFC 275 event held in Singapore. Valentina Shevchenko defended her Women’s Flyweight title against up-and-coming star Taila Santos.
The main event saw Glover Teixeira defending his Light Heavyweight title against Jiri Prochazka.
The other big fight on the main card was a rematch between Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
Weili was able to go 2-0 against her rival, and the former Women’s Strawweight champion, Jedrzejczyk announced her retirement from MMA fighting too.
The co-main was a close contest between Shevchenko and Santos. While some believed that Santos had done enough, it was Shevchenko who got the split decision win and kept her title.
The main event was a crazy affair between the champion and Prochazka. It seemed that Prochazka would win the belt early on but Teixeira survived some nasty blows and even had the challenger on the ropes with his wrestling.
