ESPN confirmed that UFC Brasilia will have the main event of Kevin Lee vs Charles Oliveira.
The report adds that UFC confirmed the fight recently and this will be the main event for the 14 March show.
Oliveira comes into this clash with six straight wins under his belt. The 30-year-old Brazilian has a record of 28 wins and eight losses with one a no-contest.
The Brazilian also holds a few records in UFC with the most wins by submission (13) and most Performance of the Night awards (9) too.
The UFC Brasil feature is also known as UFC Fight Night 170 and UFC Fight Night: Oliveira vs Lee.
Lee, for his part, comes into this contest with a record of 18 wins and five losses. The 27-year-old American won his last fight against Gregor Gillespie but had lost the two clashes prior to that.
Lee was the Total Warrior Combat Lightweight Champion once but hasn’t picked up a belt in the UFC.
There are several other fights on the card but another one catches the eye. Paige VanZant takes on rising star Amanda Ribas in a women’s Strawweight fight.
Another home town hero, Johnny Walker will try to get the better of Nikita Krylov in the men’s Light Heavyweight division.
Who is Claressa Shields? The Boxer than Amanda Nunes could face in next fight
Who is Colby Covington? The Donald Trump supporter that got his jaw broken at UFC 245
There are four other fights on the card for the March 14 event, and it will be interesting to see how some of the clashes go in Brazil.
