However, his time after that meeting didn’t go well. Covington faced Kamaru Usman for the undisputed title and got his jaw broken from the Nigerian Nightmare.

The American will be back in action against long-time rival Tyron Woodley next, and was happy to see his president.

Trump claimed Covington is a champion and he is a winner. The president also wished him the best of luck and would be watching the fight too.

Kissing the hand?

While this was an expected response from Trump, especially as many other UFC stars also met him.

Ali Abdelaziz and Justin Gaethje were also present, but Covington seemed to try hard with the president.

During the final moments of this clip, the pair shook hands but Covington moved Trump’s hand close to his face.

He almost seemed to kiss it and this got many fans talking. While many fans backed Covington to get the win over Woodley, many laughed out at his attempt to kiss Trump’s hand.

Some even laughed at his “snowflakes” comments, but this should be a great fight. Covington is the “Super Villain” of the UFC, as he calls himself, and a win could get him back into title contention.

A rematch against Usman would be spectacular but Woodley is one of the best in the history of the sport.

Woodley has been on a slide in recent fights, but this is his chance to turn things around and get back to winning ways.
