UFC Fight Night 169 Benavidez vs. Figueiredo sees the Flyweight title on the line but there are some interesting clashes on the fight card

Joseph Benavidez vs Deiveson Figueiredo is the main fight ahead of UFC Fight Night 169 which will be held at Norfolk, Virginia.

The PPV takes place on 29 February 2020 and sees two of the best Flyweights in the UFC go head to head.

However, there are several quality clashes on the cards and this should be another amazing UFC event.

As with most UFC PPVs, the fight card is split into the Preliminary and the Main card. The Preliminary one sees some rising stars get a chance to shine and there are seven fights setup for UFC Fight Night 169.

UFC Fight Night 169: Preliminary card

The Prelim card features a mix of weight classes with two Featherweight clashes, one Welterweight, one Bantamweight, one Lightweight one Middleweight and one Heavyweight clash.

There is a healthy mix of experience and youth in all the fights with the likes of Luis Pena, Steve Garcia, Ismail Naurdiev and Marcin Tybura all looking to impress on the Prelim card.

Surprisingly, there isn’t a female bout in the UFC Fight Night 169 Prelim card.

The Main card sees five mega bouts with two female clashes too. Two women’s Featherweight clashes are on the card while there is another Featherweight, Flyweight and Light Heavyweight clash to look forward too.

The main clash that everyone is looking forward to is Benavidez vs Figueiredo.

Figueiredo has just one loss to his name from 18 MMA bouts but Benavidez has a lot of experience going into this and is ranked as the #1 Flyweight in the UFC.

Ion Cuțelaba taking on Magomed Ankalaev should be another cracking affair. Ankalaev also has just one loss to his name so far in his career and has 13 wins to his name.

Canadian star Felicia Spencer is another star that has just one loss to her name. She goes against Zarah Fairn dos Santos and would be looking to pick up her eighth MMA win, after losing to Cris Cyborg in her previous bout.

Megan Anderson will also be looking for to continue her mini winning streak against Norma Dumont Viana. She beat Dos Santos in the last bout but Viana will not be easy opposition.
