Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov never skips the gym

Khabib Nurmagomedov might have retired from the sport of mixed martial arts, but that doesn’t stop him from staying in shape.

‘The Eagle of Dagestan’ might gain weight, but never loses his shape. And now, with a walk-around weight of probably 180-190lbs Khabib looks bigger than ever.

The Russian recently took to Instagram to share his favorite place. In a video he posted, Khabib can be seen sweating it out in what looks like a step treadmill at the NAD AL SHEBA Sports Complex.

Khabib captioned the post:- “My favorite place @nas_sc.”

He then added (translated from Russian):

“These flights and meetings relaxed me, from tomorrow I start, or rather, I have already started.”

Khabib was recently in Almaty, Kazakhstan to attend the 37th event of his MMA promotion – Eagle Fighting Championship. He will be travelling to the United States soon, to coach his fellow Dagestani brothers across various MMA promotions.

With almost all the top-ranked UFC fighters being a guest in Joe Rogan’s podcast, UFC lightweight GOAT Khabib has never been one.

In a recent Q&A on Facebook, he explained if he would ever make an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

He was quoted as saying:

“Yes, I watch Joe Rogan podcast a lot of time. He asked me a couple of times. I really wanna go there. But before I go there, I wanna be ready, you know? I wanna improve my English a little bit more – to explain to people what I have in my mind, you know? In Russian language, I can say everything – what I feel, what I wanna say. But in English, I have little bit barrier. When I am going to be ready, I will let him know.”
