Here’s a look at the UFC London: Volkov vs Aspinall winners from a monumental night in the MMA UK world. The UFC London bonus also made the record books for the UFC
The O2 Arena was electrifying on Saturday night with UFC London 2022 arguably being the biggest night in UFC history. A total of 12 bouts took place in the English capital and every fight had the British crowds roaring their approval. With 17,081 fans in attendance, UFC London made history by becoming the highest-grossing single sporting event at the O2 Arena.
UFC London bonus: Which fighters received the bonuses from UFC Fight Night 204?
10 fighters on the card were Britishers and seven of the hometown MMA stars claimed victory on the night. In fact, UFC London simply had too many great performances to choose from for the usual Performances of the Night bonuses, so president Dana White decided to choose them all.
For the first time in UFC history, White announced post-fight that the UFC would award $50,000 bonuses to everybody who scored a finish on the card. Nine of those 12 fights ended in finishes.
On the undercard, Muhammad Mokaev, Paul Craig, Sergei Pavlovich, and Makwan Amirkhani all flaunted impressive first-round finishes as the crowd cheered the fighters on. That energy kept on rolling to the main card where Ilia Topuria, Molly McCann, Paddy Pimblett, Arnold Allen, and Tom Aspinall also grabbed highlight-reel stoppages.
