2022 MMA Awards- Full list of winners and important results
The Fighters Only World Mixed Martial Arts Awards is the industry event for the sport of MMA and celebrates the accomplishments and performances of the people who make the sport what it is during the period of 12 months between July 2021 and June 2022. The awards will be presented at the Fighters Only World Mixed Martial Arts Awards.
Speaking about the awards, CEO of Fighters Only, Rob Hewitt stated: “The past number of years have been challenging for not only us but the entire events industry. However, despite the difficulties and obstacles, we never stopped staging the World MMA Awards, and each year we have regained important elements to bring back fully, what makes our awards show special.
“With that in mind, I am really excited for this year’s event to go back to a big stage at a venue that could not be more iconic to Las Vegas than the SAHARA.
“I would also like to thank the fans. The sport is nothing without them, and as the years have gone by, it’s amazing to see their growth, not just in terms of participation in voting, but in how informed and deliberated their decisions have been as to who wins!
“We look forward to welcoming our nominees, special guests, industry peers, and VIPs back to celebrate in person at the World MMA Awards.”
