Abdul Razzak Alhassan produced a great head kick KO on Alessio di Chirico
Abdul Razzak Alhassan sure knows ho to make the highlight reel and the Ghanaian did that again at UFC Vegas 35.
Alhassan was up against Alessio di Chirico and the fight was over in under a minute. This clash was the last one on the prelim card and it had an incredible finish.
Alhassan produced a super kick to his rival’s head and Chirico was down. The Ghana star didn’t even need to follow through with this and he picked up an important win.
Alhassan also created a bit of a record after the win. This was his third such win in under a minute with all of them being KOs.
The Ghana star became the seventh fighter with three or more KOs in under a minute and he was emotional after the win.
Abdul Razzak Alhassan stops a big streak
The 36-year-old certainly needed the win in all this. The Ghana star came into this clash with three losses under his belt with his last win coming in September 2018.
That was against Niko Price and at that time, Alhassan was a great 10-1 in his MMA career. However, the three losses certainly hurt his record after that.
However, Alhassan is now 11-4 and beating Chirico will give him another boost of confidence. He was supposed to actually face Antonio Braga Neto at UFC Vegas 29 but Neto pulled out due to undisclosed reasons.
This fight was certainly a highlight reel for Alhassan and it will be interesting to see if his KO wins the KO of the Year award in 2021.
