Aljamain Sterling posted a picture of himself in a new look donning a Dagestani beard
Aljamain Sterling has found his peace with people labelling him as the ‘paper champ’ and has built a new arc around it.
Aljo is well renowned for his hilarity, and he exhibited that side of him when he flaunted his new look on Twitter. He also suggested a new name for himself in a look that is inspired from Dagestanis, Aljambib Stermaev.
He quoted,
“Trying the Dagestani beard. Now I eat everybody. Smesh everyone! Aljambib Stermaev!“
UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling calls Petr Yan’s belt ‘fake’
Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan’s rivalry has been the talk of the rejuvenated bantamweight division. ESPN recently confirmed that the two will face each other again at UFC 273 in an epic rematch.
Sterling has captured the bantamweight gold from Petr Yan at UFC 259, after Yan delivered an illegal knee late in the fourth round of the title fight. Although some fans are yet to embrace him as the undisputed champion, ‘The Funkmaster’ feels that he is the legitimate champion and deserves some respect.
He wrote:
“Take that fake ass belt of Yan. #Actor.”
The rematch has all the right ingredients of an epic fight and is developing into one of the greatest bantamweight rivalries ever.
