UFC light heavyweight fighter Aleksandar Rakic pokes fun at Macgregor’s fighting career, and suggests that the ‘Notorious’ one is looking at career options outside MMA
Every year building up to WrestleMania, new rumors surface on the internet suggesting that MMA superstar Conor McGregor will make an appearance. This year’s WWE cornerstone event had its fair share of surprise appearances, but one face that missed the spot was McGregor.
McGregor had a simple response to why he wasn’t a part of the show. He suggested that the entire WWE roster fears him and that is probably the reason why he didn’t make an appearance. He said, ‘ Why wasn’t I at Wrestlemania? They all fear me, that’s why.’
McGregor has engaged in Twitter tirades and went on some epic rants against the current WWE roster several times in the past.
UFC fighters have recently been vocal about their criticism of Conor McGregor. The former double champion has received flak from Rafel Dos Anjos, Henry Cejudo and many others, most recently by Aleksandar Rakic.
Mcgregor has not won an MMA bout since he fought Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January 2020, while he continues to build his business empire outside the octagon. Aleksandar Rakic suggests that the ‘Notorious’ one can smell the end of his pro MMA career and is possibly looking at options outside the company. He responded to Mcgergor’s WrestleMania 38 post by saying, ‘ Smart move to look already post real-fighting career and get some wins…’
Rakic is scheduled to fight Jan Błachowicz in May later this year.
