Top-ranked UFC light-heavyweight Aleksandar Rakic went back and forth with former UFC fighter, now-commentator Paul Felder
Paul Felder isn’t a fan of people critiquing his mic-talk. ‘The Irish Dragon’ was piqued after top-ranked UFC light-heavyweight Aleksandar Rakic named his favourite commentary panel.
Rakic named Michael Bisping, Jon Anik and Dominick Cruz, adding that he wouldn’t have to mute if the three were on air. However, he didn’t fire shots at anyone specific. The Austrian’s Tweet came after Bisping confirmed that he would be working with the ESPN Desk for UFC 270.
Rakic’s Tweet read:
“If it’s you, @Jon_Anik and @DominickCruz working I’ll definitely will watch the fights without having to mute them… #facts.”
However, Felder took offence to Rakic’s Tweet. He was clearly unhappy with the Austrian’s Tweet.
Felder’s Tweet read:
“Just say what you gotta say. Is this a third grade crush? Tell me you don’t like my commentary and I’ll tell you some of your fights suck.”
The talking point here is that – Rakic wasn’t exactly firing shots at Felder. He might have, but he never mentioned anyone’s name. It could have been Joe Rogan or even Daniel Cormier. But was quick to jump on to Rakic’s Tweet.
Aleksandar Rakic responds to Paul Felder
Aleksandar Rakic replied to Felder’s Tweet in a rather diplomatic manner.
His reply read:
“I’d listen to you all day! But go on, speak your mind!”
Rakic, who last fought Thiago Santos at UFC 259 will take on former LHW champ Jan Blachowicz. The fight is scheduled to take place on the 26th of March, 2022 at UFC Fight Night 205.
