Alexander Volkanovski unimpressed after Max Holloway racks up several UFC records in Calvin Kattar win

Published by

Max Holloway created several UFC records in his latest fight, but that wasn’t enough for Alexander Volkanovski

Max Holloway was one another level as he racked up the UFC records in his win over Calvin Kattar.

The former Featherweight champion was simply incredible as he dominated his rival. While Holloway didn’t get a KO or a finish, the numbers did all the talking in the end.

Holloway shattered so many records, it was incredible. Kattar tried his best but it was Blessed that was just on another level.

The UFC star also passed another legend in all this as he got the better of Georges St-Pierre in one category.

However, that didn’t seem to impress the current UFC Featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski.

The champ has two wins over Holloway, which were for the UFC title. Further, Volkanovski brought up that Holloway couldn’t get similar numbers up against him.

Holloway vs Volkanovski 3?

There was a lot of controversy in the last meeting between the pair. Volkanovski got the split decision win to keep the belt at UFC 251. However, many claimed that Holloway was the better fighter and should have reclaimed the title.

Volkanovski is to defend his title against Brian Ortega soon. However, Dana White confirmed that Holloway vs Volkanovski 3 could be in the works.

This was a Holloway that most had not seen in the UFC and it will be interesting to see how Volkanovski does against Ortega.

Holloway vs Volkanovski 3 should be another classic in the making. Even if Holloway ends up facing Ortega for the title, there would be very few who would suggest that Blessed wouldn’t get his title back.
