‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey was an unstoppable force in MMA
Ronda Rousey dominated women’s mixed martial arts in the early 2010s and well into the mid-2010s.
She became the first-ever UFC women’s champion when she won the women’s bantamweight championship against Sarah Kaufan in 2012 at Strikeforce (part of the UFC then).
Opponents had no clue to Rousey’s indomitable game, as they all fell like a pile of broken bricks.
It was not until her fight against Holly Holm in 2015 that Rousey’s dominance was put to an end. Having lost to Holm, she suffered another loss against Amanda Nunes in 2016. She then announced her retirement after that.
More recently, Kayla Harrison of PFL has been showing the same dominance as a prime Ronda Rousey.
The former two-time Olympic judo gold medalist made her MMA debut just three years ago. Since then, she has gone on to win all of her fights. Her current record stands at 10 wins and 0 losses.
She is currently the PFL Women’s lightweight champion and is being hailed as the next big thing in women’s MMA.
Ali Abdelaziz feels Kayla Harrison is levels above Ronda Rousey
Dominance MMA CEO Ali Abdelaziz has immense respect for his clients. He never stops showering them with love.
In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Abdelaziz explained that his client Kayla Harrison was levels above every other women in the sport. He then went on to compare Harrison with Ronda Rousey.
Abdelaziz said:
““I truly believe today Kayla Harrison is the baddest woman in any room. No disrespect to anybody. There’s a lot of women out there that are amazing, but I think she’s a different breed. And, she’s everything that Ronda Rousey is supposed to be. She’s Ronda Rousey 6.0. Ronda did a lot of things for this sport, I respect Ronda- but the people’s expectation of Ronda was so high. Guess what? Anybody can expect the same thing from Kayla, but at a much, much higher level.”
