UFC heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou has responded to Ali Abdelaziz’s bet challenge on the AFCON semi-finals between Cameroon & Egypt

Earlier yesterday, Ali Abdelaziz challenged Francis Ngannou for a friendly bet on the AFCON semi-finals to be held later this week. It’s apparent that Francis Ngannous is a huge football fan and does not shy away from a challenge.

The Cameroon native made his prediction quite clear on Twitter.

He wrote:

“We love you but we’re going to beat you again.”

It’s quite clear that the ever vocal manager is immensely confident that Egypt will be victorious. He called upon Francis to place a wager on the much-awaited clash.

“How much?” – Abdelaziz responded.

As we get closer to the semi-finals, it will be interesting to see who gets their prediction right.

Francis Ngannou to undergo knee surgery following MCL tear

UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is all set to undergo a knee surgery following his recently lingering injury that almost made him pull out of his title defense against Ciryl Gane.

The surgery will keep him away from the octagon for several months, reported first by Brett Okamoto.

Despite the issue being kept under wraps, questions were raised when Ngannou walked into the arena with knee support on both his legs.

According to his manager Marquel Martin, Ngannou is set to undergo surgery before training or competing again.
