Many UFC stars have avoided Khamzat Chimaev and Ali Abdelaziz named Neil Magny as the only one who wants to face Borz
Ali Abdelaziz had criticised several UFC stars for avoiding Khamzat Chimaev in the past but named one star who isn’t worried about getting into the Octagon against Borz.
Demian Maia, Chris Weidman, Stephen Thompson and a few others have all been called out by Khamzat. However, most of them have avoided this fight or have skipped over Chimaev.
Weidman did accept the fight but wants to face the Swede in January 2021. However, the undefeated Chimaev doesn’t want to wait this long and wants to fight again before the end of the year.
It would be some feat to have four fights in the same year, but Chimaev is keen on ending this year with his fourth UFC win of the year.
Abdelaziz knows who really wants to fight Chimaev
While the UFC tries to confirm an opponent for Chimaev, Abdelaziz named the one star that isn’t joking bout taking on Borz.
The Egyptian claimed that Neil Magny is the only one keen on facing Chimaev while the others were faking it:
“The only guy for real want to fight @KChimaev is @NeilMagny
“Everyone else is faking it be real”
The only guy for real want to fight @KChimaev is @NeilMagny everyone else is faking it be real @danawhite @seanshelby

Magny is one of the big names in the UFC and the 33-year-old isn’t afraid of going into a battle. The 33-year-old is on a three-fight win streak and is 24-7 in his MMA career.
Magny last fought Robbie Lawler in August 2020 and it will be interesting to see if this is the fight set up by Dana White.
Abdelaziz certainly wants this clash to be made as he tagged White and Sean Shelby in his tweet too. Chimaev is the breakout UFC star this year and his stock only keeps rising with each fight. The 26-year-old seems desperate for a clash too as he even spoke about taking on Brock Lesnar.
That might not happen anytime soon but Chimaev will be in action soon.
