Conor McGregor recently fired shots at his old rival Khabib Nurmagomedov
Things between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov will never return back to normalcy ever.
Despite, the Russian retiring from the sport, the animosity McGregor has for Khabib will never dwindle.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, McGregor stated that Khabib’s contribution to the sport has been very minimal, in fact, nothing.
“I don’t really give a f*ck about that guy, to be honest with you. I mean, he ran, he’s gone…He didn’t do f*ck all in the sport, in my opinion. Three wins on the trot, before that he was poor…He had a little run and then showed his true character. It’s not like I wasn’t surprised, he scooted away like the little rat that he is…I’m not even concerned.”
McGregor and Khabib faced off at UFC 229 in October 2018. Khabib won the fight via. submission in the fourth round due to a neck crank.
What followed was an intense post-fight brawl between McGregor and Khabib’s team, primarily triggered due to the bus incident, earlier that year.
Ali Abdelaziz slams Conor McGregor
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz is someone who wouldn’t tolerate if anyone talks trash about his clients. And when it is something about Khabib, his rage shoots up to astronomical levels.
Abdelaziz and Conor McGregor have been going forth ever since that bus attack by McGregor and his men on Khabib’s team.
The recent comments made by McGregor didn’t sit well with Abdelaziz, and hence, the Dominance MMA CEO decided to hit back at the Irishman.
Abdelaziz brought up the day when Khabib humiliated McGregor, at UFC 229.
He tweeted:
“”@TheNotoriousMMA stop talking about Khabib , the guy who embarrassed you in front of your whole country men and he took your soul , he is your superior in everything in life b**** @TeamKhabib.”
