However, Dominance MMA head, Abdelaziz, seems to have hinted at when Johnson will return. The Egyptian just posted the date and tagged Johnson which got a lot of people talking:

Is Johnson coming back to the UFC?

Johnson lost two title bouts in his UFC career but remains one of the biggest hitters in the promotion.

The 36-year-old could fight in the Light Heavyweight or Heavyweight division but the American has confirmed he is looking to stay in the Light Heavyweight division.

Johnson looks to be in great shape and it will be interesting to see what Abdelaziz has planned for the American’s return.

Rumble’s last fight was for the UFC Light Heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier at UFC 210. This took place on April 8, 2017 and it was Cormier who ended up getting the win via a rear-naked choke.

Johnson has also confirmed that he was in talks with the UFC regarding a return, and it will be worth watching who he could face.

The 36-year-old remains one of the best to have graced the Octagon, and he could take the Light Heavyweight division by storm.

Jan Blachowicz won the vacant Light Heavyweight title after defeating Dominick Reyes. However, it would be a major surprise if Johnson is given a title shot right after making his return.
