Dominance MMA CEO Ali Abdelaziz wants his client Islam Makhachev to hand Conor McGregor a battering
Islam Makhachev has been on a roll. The Dagestani, a few hours ago, beat Thiago Moises in the main event of UFC Vegas 31.
After having been made to toil hard by the Brazilian, Makhachev executed a perfect rear-naked choke in the fourth round of their fight to earn a victory via. submission.
The win brought up Makhachev’s eighth successive victory, and the number 9 ranked lightweight is unbeaten in 6 years.
Following his win, Makhachev called out several lightweights like Tony Ferguson, Michael Chandler and Rafael dos Anjos.
Makhachev’s manager Ali Abdelaziz joined the party as well. He resorted to his usual Twitter callouts, and as usual, brought up Conor McGregor.
Referencing McGregor’s leg break at UFC 264, Abdelaziz claimed that it would be a treat to watch his client Makhachev break the Irishman’s neck.
Abdelaziz wrote on Twitter:
“When did McGregor come back I want see @MAKHACHEVMMA Break his neck not his leg @TheNotoriousMMA.”
Following Makhachev’s victory, Abdelaziz claimed that UFC lightweight veteran Tony Ferguson asked for his (Makhachev’s location).
“@TonyFergusonXT islam ask me about your location @MAKHACHEVMMA.”
Despite being down and out, Ferguson is still a top contender, and hence Abdelaziz wanted UFC President Dana White to finalize the deal.
“@danawhite also Let’s finish this deal.”
Ferguson is currently on a three-fight skid, after having lost to Justin Gaethje, Charles Oliveira and recently, Beneil Dariush. He will be looking forward to jumping back into the realm of relevance.
