Amanda Nunes’ call out comes in the wake of UFC President Dana White’s recent comments about reality star Kim Kardashian

With Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather exhibition boxing bout being all the rage in the combat sports world last week, UFC President Dana White slammed the fight refusing to call the contest a ‘boxing match.’

White had told UFC Arabia:

“That wasn’t a f*****g boxing match… Like I said before, there’s always going to be a market for that kind of stuff. There’s always going to be people that are willing to put down $50 to watch that kind of stuff. That’s so far away [from what I do].”

The boss didn’t stop there, he then went on to compare the fight to a showdown between the UFC Women’s GOAT Amanda Nunes and popular reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

White’s comments spread like wildfire:

“Think about this — imagine if Kim Kardashian wanted to fight Amanda Nunes. How big do you think that fight would be? It would be huge. It would be the biggest…but give me a f*****g break.”

In the wake of this, Amanda Nunes reacted to White’s comments, as she called out Kim K for a fight.

Nunes wrote:

“Hey Kim Kardashian let’s do this.”

Nunes’ tweet received a lot of reactions on Twitter, but Kim K wasn’t the one among them

Cris Cyborg reacts to Amanda Nunes’ tweet

Though there was no response from Kardashian’s side, Nunes’ received a reply from her old foe, Cris Cyborg.

She replied to Nunes’ tweeting:

“I know a fight fans want…” [translated from Portuguese]

Cyborg’s rivalry with Nunes dates back to December 2018. Prior to facing ‘The Lioness’ at UFC 232 in December 2018, Cyborg was an unstoppable force. She had been on a 20-fight win streak in her MMA career, with 20 wins and just one loss.

Cyborg was also the UFC women’s featherweight champion then. In a champ vs champ clash, which featured the bantamweight champion taking on the featherweight champion, Nunes emerged victorious finishing off Cris Cyborg in the very first round with a devastating punch.

Since then, Cyborg has been wanting to rematch Nunes, and has been calling her out from time to time. She now plies her trade in the Bellator, where she is the women’s featherweight world champion.
