The UFC is preparing for its first show since the coronavirus suspension and Ariel Helwani shared a crazy event plan

MMA reporter Ariel Helwani predicts an aggressive plan by the UFC to get their fight cards done, once they return to action.

Helwani has broken several big news stories over the years and has a bold prediction for the UFC.

The ESPN reporter was speaking about the UFC coming back and Dana White recently spoke about holding his next event on 9 May.

While details remain sketchy on where the action might take place, there are three big title matches on the possible card.

However, Helwani was speaking on the face that White wanted to hold 42 events in this year. That seems a little out of reach at the moment due to the havoc by the coronavirus.

The UFC hasn’t held an event in over a month and has had to cancel several cards too. However, Helwani predicts that the UFC will hold three events in a week with the Apex holding some events too.

Helwani also said that matches could take place from Thursday to Saturday, and that would be something incredible:

White spoke last night about the UFC returning for a 9 May event. The location for the fight is yet to be revealed and all the fights are still to be confirmed.

However, there are three title fights on the proposed card with the big one being Justin Gaethje taking on Tony Ferguson.

The UFC Apex Center can host UFC events (UFC)

This would be for the interim UFC Lightweight title with Khabib Nurmagomedov keeping his crown. The champion is stuck in Russia and could not make it for UFC 249. That was cancelled by Disney and ESPN at the last moment, and it will be interesting to see how the new card of White goes.

The Apex was built in Las Vegas and is capable of hosting events and has production setups too. White seems to be a visionary after building this centre and the UFC could be up and running before you know it too.
