Booker T claims Jiri Prochazka would create problems for Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier
Jiri Prochazka has taken the UFC by storm since his debut fight against Volkan Oezdemir last year. And his recent fight against Dominick Reyes has just boosted his stocks further.
Not only does he have the best haircut in the promotion, but the man can also fight. He knocked out the American in scary fashion.
Reyes came out fighting in the second round and got a little loose with his defence. This is what the Czech fighter needed as he unloaded with two elbows in quick succession.
The last one connected in brutal fashion and knocked Reyes out cold. Prochazka (28-3-1) had a round 2 victory by KO and could now aim for a title shot. He won the performance of the night and the fight of the night for his showing.
The light heavyweight division has become pretty open ever since Jon Jones moved up to heavyweight and Prochazka seems like the real deal at 265.
Booker T fancies Jiri Prochazka to cause Stipe Miocic some problems
However, former WWE superstar, Booker T, seems to think that Prochazka can trouble even former UFC heavyweight champions in Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic.
He stated on the latest edition of his Hall of Fame podcast that Prochazka can cause a lot of problems for the two.
“I didn’t know a whole lot about this dude, man, but I’ll tell you; that’s a guy, I don’t care if it’s Dominick Reyes, I don’t care if it’s Stipe Miocic. I’m serious, I don’t care it’s Daniel Cormier… they’re gonna have problems with a guy like that…. He was non-stop action. He is, what I call, a ‘wrecking ball’.”
Prochazka has now made a massive climb in the UFC light heavyweight rankings as well. He was #5 before the fight but is now placed at #2, behind Glover Teixeira.
Don’t be surprised if you see some gold around Prochazka’s waist in a few months. This guy is here to take over.
