Brian Ortega did a Purge themed walk out for his UFC 266 clash
Brian Ortega faced Alexander Volkanovksi for the Featherweight strap at UFC 266. Ortega brought out an entrance befitting of the occasion. T-City walked out draped in the Purge theme looking to send across a message to the entire division.
For those of you who don’t know what it means, Ortega was looking to get rid of Volkanovski and this entrance was also a reference to that.
Though the match did not go according to Ortega’s plan it gave fans a fight to remember for ages to come. Possibly one of the greatest Featherweight fight ever. Ortega showed tremendous heart and also refused to give up. Volkanovski was dominant in the majority of the fight as he controlled the pace and was also pushing forward.
The two also gave each other their respects after the fight contrary to what we saw in the bulid up for the fight.
How did Twitter react to Brian Ortega’s entrance?
Ortega’s entrance quickly became the talking point and fans hopped on the wagon to praise and also criticize his entrance.
Ortega gave the fans something to talk about with his entrance. Though he suffered a loss Ortega also put on one of the best performances of his life. Fans would hope to see him in the octagon soon and also comeback stronger. Ortega has shown he can rise from setbacks and comeback stronger and he will look to do the same thing again.
