Brok Weaver and Khama Worthy are two rising stars in the UFC and want to serve up a treat

Khama Worthy and Brok Weaver seem to have set a course to clash in the UFC. The pair have called each other out in the past and it seems that they are finally set to meet inside the Octagon.

Worthy is ready for his next opponent and brought up some discussions he had with Worthy in Vegas. He tagged Dana White and Sean Shelby in the tweed and wanted to meet Weaver before the end of the year.

Weaver too was keen on facing off against the Deathstar and confirmed he was open to fighting at the end of November or December.

Weaver also predicted that this would be the UFC fight of the year:

“End of November or December let’s get it!!! Fight of the year wrote all on it”

A quality fight on the cards

The two are known for going at it from the first second, and this could be a fantastic clash if the UFC set it up.

Both stars are coming off losses in their last fights. Worthy was on a seven-fight win streak but that snapped at the hands of Ottman Azaitar.

The Deathstar had won his first two UFC bouts but finally tasted defeat in his new promotion. Weaver, for his part, is on a two-fight losing streak.

The 28-year-old won his debut UFC fight against Rodrigo Vargas but he considered that as a loss too since the win was via a DQ from his opponent’s end.

The UFC does have some quality events before the end of the year, and this fight certainly would be an ideal one leading to the main card.
