Bryce Mitchell also spoke about the Canadian trucker situation in Canada and hit out at Justin Trudeau
UFC star Bryce Mitchell went on a rampage on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour show. The UFC Featherweight is undefeated in his MMA career but he went a little crazy on his appearance.
Mitchell claimed that the US orchestrates mass shootings, even school shootings, to strike fear into people.
He believed that this was one way for the US government to ban the public from owning guns. Mitchell also brought up some weird comparisons to Nazi Germany and even spoke about Justin Trudeau being a dictator.
“My number one explanation is that the government in a lot of these. They have an agenda, they set up mass shootings and blame the AR-15s. They say ‘Oh, now we’re coming to take your AR-15s now.’ Let me tell you why they haven’t taken away the AR-15s, cause this is God’s land, they cannot. They do not have the power to take away these AR-15s. They have been trying and trying and trying, the people are too strong. I would die before I hand these guns over to my government.” – said Bryce Mitchell on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. (H/t BJ Penn)
Mitchell has also made some statements regarding covid-19 in the past and had a lot more to say on Helwani’s show.
While some may not support Mitchell’s outspoken nature and his beliefs, there is no doubting his ability inside the Octagon.
Thug Nasty is undefeated in his MMA career and is the 11-ranked UFC Featherweight. Mitchel last defeated Andre Fili in October 2020 but has been out due to a hand injury.
Thug Nasty will return to action on 5 March 2022. He goes up against Edson Barboza at UFC 272. It will be interesting to see how Mitchell does on his UFC return.
He has been away from the Octagon for more than a year, so ring rust could be a factor in this clash.
