Bryce Mitchell could be out for a while after picking up an injury against Andre Fili
Bryce Mitchell and his camo shorts was one talking point before his fight against Andre Fili at UFC Las Vegas 12.
Mitchell came into this fight undefeated in his career and picked up a unanimous decision win over Fili.
The 26-year-old improved to 14-0 in his MMA career, but the win came at a price. Mitchell posted an update on social media and confirmed he had broken his hand in the bout.
Thug Nasty, as Mitchell is called, also added that he was going to be out for a while:
“I ain’t no easy fite for anybody. Ima be out for a bit cause I broke my hand but I’m lookin forward to testin myself against the best when I’m back.”

Hopefully, the injury isn’t too serious for Thug Nasty as he has been excellent since making his UFC debut.
The 26-year-old is ranked 15th in the Featherweight division and he seems to be on quite a charge up the table.
Controversy after win
While the camo shorts got a lot of attention before and after the fight, some of Mitchell’s comments also caught fire.
Mitchell claimed that people shouldn’t be forced to wear masks and admitted he was going to get a lot of criticism for this statement. He again posted an update claiming that a lot of people were upset over his comments after the win:
Lotta people mad about me exercisin my 1st Amendment right last nite. 👍🏻

The US has been one of the worst-hit countries when it comes to the coronavirus. Wearing a mask is one way to stop the spread of the virus but some don’t even believe in the existence of the virus that has affected millions.
Several UFC stars have also caught the virus which has led to fights being cancelled.
