UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell reveals his favorite T.J. Dillashaw moment
T.J Dillashaw will face Aljamain Sterling in the co-main event of UFC 280 that will take place on October 22, 2022, at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The UFC social media team posted a video compilation of the best moments delivered by Dillashaw inside the octagon. UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell angrily reacted to the video and pointed out that Dillashaw should be criminally charged for cheating.
The video shows famous moments that Dillashaw was a part of, which included his two knockout victories over bitter rival Cody Garbrandt.
Dillashaw officially made his UFC debut on December 3, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale as a member of Team Bisping. The fight was the final of the bantamweight tournament against John Dodson to determine the winner of The Ultimate Fighter 14. Dillashaw lost the fight via TKO in the first round.
The two-time bantamweight fighter tarnished his legacy when he tested positive for EPO following his knockout loss against Henry Cejudo. Dillashaw broke his silence over the drug test failure and consecutive suspension with a post on Instagram. He acknowledged that he had used a banned substance and stated that the decision was his alone, and regrets the bad light he brought upon his coaches, family and teammates by association. He also said his use of EPO was limited to the Cejudo fight and said that USADA had retested all of the samples from his prior drug tests to confirm this.
Mitchell reacted to the video by claiming that his favorite Dillashaw moment was when he got knocked out by Dodson:
“wen he got finished by Dodson. I really enjoyed watchin that. cheater. He oughtta b criminally charged.”
Bryce Mitchell reacts to the main event of UFC 279
Nate Diaz fought out his UFC contract in the most Diaz way possible by submitting Tony Ferguson via guillotine choke in the fourth round.
Nate Diaz is a veteran of the sport of MMA. Winner of the Ultimate Fighter season 5, Diaz begun training at the age of 11 with his older brother Nick Diaz. A third-degree black belt in jiu-jitsu, Diaz has fought the biggest names in the sport of MMA.
He fought another veteran in Tony Ferguson and the fight absolutely delivered. Diaz had a tough time in the initial rounds trying to deal with the awkwardness of Ferguson. ‘El Cucuy’ had great success with the inside leg kick that he chopped repeatedly. A lump-like swelling had developed on Diaz’s leg but if history is to be believed, Diaz’s toughness cannot be questioned. He powered through and found his boxing range and started landing combinations.
In the end of the third round, the fight was fairly contested and could’ve gone either way. Ferguson’s corner asked him to shoot for a takedown which would later cost the former interim lightweight champion. As soon as Tony shot for the takedown, Diaz wrapped a tight guillotine that forced the tap out of Ferguson. Nate Diaz walked away with a submission win reminiscent of the one he pulled off against Kurt Pellegrino back in the day.
Mitchell reacted to the fight on Twitter:
