Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen have heated arguments online, periodically like the Comet Halley
Jones‘ rivalry with Chael Sonnen dates back to the early 2010s. Sonnen is now retired and is a full-time analyst. But his feud with Jones is never-ending.
After Jones recently posted a Tweet that read – he was about to “give birth to something big”, Sonnen used it to troll Jones. He posted a video with a thumbnail showing Jones giving birth in a labour room.
This didn’t sit well with Jones as he posted some tawdry and loutish tweets taking direct aim at Sonnen and his family.
Fans joining in late were flummoxed since they only saw Sonnen mentioning Jones in his tweets, but never really a tweet from Jones. However, ‘Bones’ had deleted those Tweets as he usually does, when he posts hateful tweets.
Here is the exchange between Jones and Sonnen:
With his heavyweight future still uncertain, Jones took to Twitter to have his usual fan interaction.
In one such exchange, he tweeted how tough it has been to become a proper heavyweight. ‘Bones’ also seemed to blame his genetics since he has been “the skinny one” in his family.
Jones tweeted:
“Man I’m telling you, I’ve always been the skinny one in my family. Becoming a proper heavyweight is a lot more difficult than I had ever anticipated. I want to do it right the first time.”
It has been 9 months since Jones moved to the heavyweight division, and he still hasn’t fought once.
Jones would have been booked to fight Francis Ngannou by now had he not got himself involved in a payment dispute with UFC President Dana White. Right now, no one knows when and against whom his next fight would be.
