Khabib Nurmagomedov’s MMA promotion EAGLE FC recently hired former UFC star Chael Sonnen as an analyst
Chael Sonnen has joined Khabib Nurmagomedov’s promotion EAGLE FC as an analyst. Taking to Twitter, EAGLE FC’s official Twitter handle shared the news of the same.
The Tweet read:
“The Bad Guy hits South Beach. @ChaelSonnen joins #EagleFC as an analyst!”
EAGLE FC is set to make its USA debut. The event, EAGLE FC 44 will take take place at the FLX Arena in Miami, Florida on the 28th of January, 2022.
Big names like Tyrone Spong and Rashad Evans are set to feature in the main card. They were recently signed to the promotion.

Chael Sonnen reacts to being named as analyst for EAGLE FC
Chael Sonnen was pretty excited about the same. Taking to Twitter, Sonnen asked for the fans to tune in to EAGLE FC whilst also calling it a ‘Dynamic New Fight Promotion.’
Here is what he had to say:
“A dynamic new fight promotion Named to Honor My Fans. Tune in to Eagle fc.”
Since his retirement, Sonnen has created a name for himself as an analyst. His YouTube channel is one of the most popular MMA channels there is. With nearly 1 million subscribers, Sonnen posts a number of videos providing his insights every other day.
He features in several other MMA platforms as well. With the roping in of Uncle Chael, it is safe to say that the EAGLE FC have done themselves a massive favour.
