Chael Sonnen and Jon Jones are rivals but there is one hilarious story between them
Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen have been going at each other’s throats for a while. The pair met for the UFC light heavyweight title back in 2013 and it was Sonnen who ended up on the losing side.
Sonnen is regarded as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, but he was never able to win a belt.
He still has a rivalry with Jones but decided to share a hilarious incident from the night of UFC 159. This took place after Jones had defeated Sonnen, and the MMA legend, while speaking on the MMA Hour, brought up how late into the night it was.
The YouTuber claimed it was 2:00 AM at night and he needed to be up by 6:00 AM to see his mother at the airport.
It was 6:00 in the morning and only Jones and Sonnen’s mother were there in the lobby (h/t Bloody Elbow):
“Jon is wearing nothing but red sweatpants,” Sonnen continued. “He’s got no shirt, no hat, no shoes. When I say nothing, he’s wearing nothing but red sweatpants. And he’s visiting with her, and he’s being very polite. Jon excuses himself, my mother and I get our bags and we’re going to go. Jon takes the elevator up, then he walks out. It was one of those hotels where the doors are on the outside so you can see everything.”
Sonnen then brought up a hilarious incident as Jones decided to moon and go to his room:
“And Jon yells down to her one last time to get her to look up — dropped his pants, mooned her, went into his room and went to sleep. She loved it.”

Chael Sonnen was recently charged with the batter of five separate victims at a Las Vegas hotel.
Reports have suggested that Sonnen only attacked the victims after they targeted his wife, and most of the MMA community has rallied behind the former UFC.
Jones, for his part, decided to take a bit of a shot at his rival.
However, many MMA stars came out and lambasted Jones for his comments. The former UFC light heavyweight champion was recently arrested for attacking his wife.
