Khabib Nurmagomedov loves football and recently received a signed jersey from Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland
Everybody knows how much Khabib Nurmagomedov loves football. The UFC Lightweight Champion has participated in several charity games and even has a good goal in him or two.
Khabib has spoken about trying out for a professional football club too in the future. This all could be coming from his retirement from MMA but his close friend, Daniel Cormier, isn’t so sure about this move.
Michael Jordan tried his luck in baseball after retiring from the NBA and that didn’t work out too much.
However, Khabib seems to be picking up a lot of football memorabilia. He was at the PSG vs Barcelona Champions League clash and saw a master class from Kylian Mbappe.
Khabib also picked up the jerseys of Mbappe and his PSG teammate, Keylor Navas, after they beat Barcelona 4-1.
The Russian now has his hands on another jersey from a rising star in Erling Haaland. The Borussia Dortmund forward is one of the brightest talents in the world and Khabib shared a story on his Instagram about a jersey he got.
Khabib certainly is one of the most popular UFC stars presently and he seems to be enjoying his time out of the Octagon.
Khabib Nurmagomedov not looking for a quick return to the UFC?
The Russian hasn’t spoken of a return to the UFC since he retired despite Dana White holding several meetings with him.
Khabib is 29-0 in his MMA career and there was talk about him fighting Georges St-Pierre. However, that seems to be on the back-burner for now.
The Russian has been busy attending football matches and enjoying his time in the UAE. Many believed that Khabib will be back after a break and UFC Lightweight star Kevin Lee predicted the same.
Lee believed that Khabib taking a break and returning later would be great for the UFC too as they could sell more PPVs.
No one knows what is on the mind of Khabib but it will be important to keep a track of his movements for a while.
