UFC 4 bolstered its roster via update 10.0 with Ciryl Gane being included into the mix
UFC 4 came out with update 10.0 as they included a couple of stars into their roster. This was the latest patch with 9.0 coming out last month and EA Sports continued the tradition of bolstering the roster with more fighters being added.
The two names added into the roster are Bantamweight star Rob Font and Heavyweight star Ciryl Gane.
While Font comes in with an overall rating of 4 stars, it is Gane that has caught the eye of many. The French Heavyweight is undefeated in his MMA career and is currently ranked fourth in the division.
Gane also has a 4.5 star rating in UFC 4 with his striking and health at 4.5 stars. His grappling is only 4 stars but that could be upgraded later on in the game cycle.
The Frenchman seemed excited at this inclusion and asked the fans what they thought of it.
Gane is certainly one of the rising stars in the UFC and it will be interesting to see what is next for him. The 30-year-old is coming off huge wins over Junior dos Santos and Jairzinho Rozenstruik in his last two outings and a title shot could be in the asking if he gets another win or two.
Another striking feature after this UFC 4 update 10.0 is Venum replacing Reebok. Venum became the official gear sponsors and replaced the long-standing Reebok attire recently.
That has now been updated in the game and there was another major update in the game too. Daniel Cormier was upgraded to 5 stars and is now a Legend.
His 5 star rating stays in both the Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight versions. Khabib Nurmagomedov, Cormier’s close friend, was the one who broke the news of DC becoming one of a handful of UFC 4 fighters getting that 5 star rating.
Update 10.0 had other fixes too regarding the game play, something that EA have consistently done for all of their games.
