Ciryl Gane Robbed: UFC Paris Winner Loses $161,924 in Daring Heist Moments After Victory!

After securing a resounding victory and half a million dollars at UFC Paris, Ciryl Gane’s celebrations took an unfortunate turn when he discovered that his home had been burglarized. Gane, hailing from Paris, delivered a clinical performance to stop Sergey Spivak in two rounds, marking a much-needed boost to his confidence following a disheartening loss to Jon Jones at UFC 285.

However, upon returning home, Gane found that his apartment in Nogent-sur-Marne, an eastern suburb of Paris, had been robbed during UFC Fight Night Paris. The burglary occurred around the same time Gane was fighting Spivak. Preliminary investigations revealed that the thief or thieves entered through the front door, stealing items valued at approximately 150,000 euros, including a Rolex and jewelry.

Sources close to Gane have suggested that the burglars may have scouted his house or received inside information from someone within Gane’s camp. This unfortunate incident cast a shadow over Gane’s victory celebration.

An investigation into the burglary has been initiated by the Val-de-Marne territorial security anti-burglary unit. The incident leaves Gane contemplating his future in a barren UFC heavyweight division, where a potential showdown with Jon Jones looms. Jones is set to face Stipe Miocic in his next fight, and a fight between Gane and rising star Tom Aspinall could serve as a title eliminator.

While a rematch between Jones and Gane lacks enthusiasm, fans are yearning for a clash between heavyweight titans Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones, although Ngannou’s strained relationship with the UFC may complicate matters. Gane’s journey in the heavyweight division continues, with hopes of securing another title shot and redemption after his previous two unsuccessful attempts against Ngannou and Jones.
