CM Punk responds to Jack Shore’s exclusion from EA Sports UFC 4 roster

Jack Shore had questioned how CM Punk made the game over him

Former WWE and UFC star CM Punk was quick to respond to Jack Shore regarding the EA Sports UFC 4 roster.

Shore is currently undefeated in his MMA career and has looked impressive in the UFC. The 25-year-old Bantamweight, however, wasn’t all that pleased with the EA Sports UFC 4 roster.

He questioned how Punk was in the game but he wasn’t. The game features around 250+ stars from the past and present. It also includes a couple of boxers in Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua but missed out on several UFC stars.

Punk, however, was quick to respond to Shore’s comments and it seems some healthy banter took place between the pair.

Shore ceded that there were some other top guys who deserved to also be in the game. Punk, for his part, joked that he would be happy to give up his spot if he got a win in the UFC.

The Welshman then added that this was all banter while Punk just wanted to see Shore win more matches:

Not the greatest UFC career

Punk is still one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time and he made the switch to MMA after leaving WWE.

However, he was unable to replicate the form of Brock Lesnar in the Octagon. While Lesnar became the UFC Heavyweight Champion, Punk lost both his matches in the promotion.

He left the company but has commented on other MMA promotions since then. Shore, for his part, is the next big thing in the Bantamweight division.

The 25-year-old has looked impressive throughout his career and it will be interesting to see who is next for him.

As for the game, EA Sports usually adds more fighters via updates later on. Shore could be one of those who feature in the game later on, and if he keeps on winning, it will be difficult for EA Sports not to include him.
