The rivalry between Cody Garbrandt and Sean O’Malley is increasing with each day
Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt has shot back at Sean O’Malley with a graphic tweet.
Both stars were on the UFC 250 card and had incredible knockouts too. There was a bit of a rivalry with O’Malley comparing his knockout to Garbrandt’s.
However, things took another turn when O’Malley appeared on Ariel Helwani’s show and claimed he would knockout Garbrandt.
O’Malley is one of the up and coming stars in the Bantamweight division. Sugar, as he is called, is 12-0 in his MMA career and has won his last two fights via knockouts.
Garbrandt, however, hasn’t taken these comments lightly and replied to a post on Twitter. A fan asked Garbrandt if he could beat O’Malley and the former champion responded in graphic detail:
“I’d make him lick white dog s***”
I’d make him lick white dog shit https://t.co/oDGK4rAN9s

It is to be seen if the UFC does put O’Malley vs Garbrandt next, especially as the pair are trading barbs online.
However, Dana White could be thinking of another big clash.
Time for the title?
Garbrandt’s amazing knockout win over Raphael Assuncao certainly got him back into the title conversation.
Petr Yan defeated Jose Aldo to claim the vacant title and has spoken about Aljamain Sterling facing him next.
However, White seems reluctant to book this clash, and Aljamain has hit out at the UFC president. Garbrandt, for his part, has tweeted out to Yan and claimed he would beat the Russian champion up.
The Bantamweight division is stacked with several quality fighters, and White has some tough calls to make.
Garbrandt should be in the title discussion but so should Sterling. However, O’Malley is one of the rising stars in the division, and he could be in with a shot should he win a couple of other high profile fights.
