Comedian Chrissie Mayr finds Dana White slapping his wife weeks before the launch of Power Slap “funny“
On New Year’s Eve, UFC president Dana White slapped his wife, an incident he later acknowledged to. TMZ obtained video of White and his wife in a heated argument in a VIP section of the club. After being attacked by his wife, White retaliates by slapping her across the face.
They were celebrating New Year’s Eve in Cabo, Mexico, when the things got rough. Eyewitnesses claim the couple was extremely drunk and that tensions suddenly flared out after the party started off peacefully.
TMZ reported on Monday that White had acknowledged to the website that he was the man in the video and that the woman was his wife. White claims the following occurred on December 31 at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico:
“I’m in Cabo, Mexico for the holidays with my family, and my wife and I were out with family on New Year’s Eve, and unfortunately that’s what happened. I’m one of the guys, you’ve heard me say for years. There’s never, ever an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman. And now here I am on TMZ talking about it.”
White added:
“There was definitely a lot of alcohol, but there’s no excuse,” White continued. “I’m literally making no excuses for this thing at all. It’s never happened before. It’s the first time that it’s ever happened, and people are going to say what they’re going to say. It is what it is. And whatever people do say, it’s deserved. I deserve it. It happened.”
Comedian Chrissie Mayr reacts to Dana White slapping his wife
Chrissie Mayr was delighted by Dana White’s behaviour on New Year’s Eve, despite Anne White, the wife of UFC president Dana White, claiming that her husband’s aggressive behaviour shown on film was not typical. The event occurred just weeks prior to the premiere of the first episode of Dana White’s Power Slap League.
White, the president of UFC, and his wife Anne were in Mexico to celebrate the New Year when an altercation erupted, resulting in White slapping Anne twice. White issued a public apology when TMZ received the tape, much to the dismay of the combat sports supreme.
Mayr wrote on Twitter:
“Dana White promoting a slap show 2 weeks before getting into a public slap fight with his wife is so funny to me.”
