Conor McGregor is currently living next to boxing legend Floyd Mayweather’s house
Conor McGregor suffered a brutal ankle break against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The Irishman eventually lost the contest due to a doctor stoppage and underwent surgery the very next day.
He was also slapped with a 6-month medical suspension.
McGregor has been recovering and has promised to be back soon. In order to speed up his recovery process, McGregor has decided to stay in the United States rather than flying back to Ireland.
He is currently in California with his family.
In a recent Instagram live session, McGregor revealed that he is currently living next to Floyd Mayweather’s Beverly Hills mansion. This is because ‘The Notorious’ has taken up shop at the Beverly Hills Hotel that oversees Mayweather’s massive house.
He went on to reveal that the house cost Mayweather around $27 million.
However, he revealed yet another amusing thought of his on the live session.
McGregor funnily expressed his desire to break into Mayweather’s house, since it is currently deserted.
He went to reveal that the pool cleaner was the only man to visit the otherwise empty house everyday.
‘Mystic Mac’ then pointed out an art piece of himself and Mayweather that is owned by ‘Mr Money’. He claimed that he wanted get into his house and grab ‘the picture out of it.”
Here is what McGregor had to say:
We’ve actually taken up shop at that Beverly Hills Hotel. It’s right next to Floyd’s gaff. Floyd has a gaff he bought after our fight. I’ve been debating breaking into it, go over the back wall. There’s no one in the house, there’s nobody in the gaff. He brought the gaff for $27million or something, and then the property tax. And the gaff is literally just deserted, no-one’s in the thing.” I’m literally right next door to it. There’s an art piece in the house that he bought, it’s me and him, I’m on one side he’s on the other side, it’s like shattered glass. I want to get into the gaff somehow and take the picture out of it. “
“Someone comes by to clean the pool every few days, that’s the only person that goes into it. I just have to roll up there and walk in, but I don’t know what the laws are, I’m not trying to lose a visa here, again.”
