Conor McGregor is in the St Patrick’s Day spirit with partner Dee Devlin at his home
St. Patrick’s Day is a pretty awesome Irish festival filled with traditions, colour, and most importantly, beer.
It’s one day you really wish you were Irish. And Conor McGregor, arguably Ireland’s greatest sporting personality ever, was in the mood for festivities right in the comfort of his own home.
‘The Notorious One’ uploaded an Instagram photo where he is sat at his home bar, with his partner, Dee Devlin, pouring him a pint of fresh beer.
And he captioned it with a pretty patriotic message; announcing that Ireland will ‘rise again’.
That’s a caption he would probably be applying to himself too as he has been on the decline recently, especially when it comes to results.
Who will Conor McGregor fight next?
McGregor comes off the back of a massive loss against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257. But McGregor gets what McGregor wants.
Such is his star power that Poirier has seemingly abandoned the pursuit of lightweight gold in order to have another massive pay-day against the Irishman.
The two are expected to complete their trilogy of fights this summer itself. Before his win at UFC 257, ‘The Diamond’ lost to the former UFC ‘champ champ’ at UFC 178 in 2014.
But now, the Notorious Conor McGregor would be out for blood. Dana White mentioned how achieving everything and living a luxurious lifestyle could have killed his hunger.
But a loss to the American must have woken him up. After the fight, he announced that he is ‘no more Mr. nice guy’.
So, let’s hope we get to see the Conor McGregor we have come to know over the years when he takes on the #1 lightweight contender this year.
