Chael Sonnen was not impressed with Conor McGregor ghosting Max Holloway recently

Conor McGregor might be out of action recovering from a broken ankle, but he is still making the big headlines.

He wasn’t fighting last weekend but got a lot of people talking though. A video surfaced of McGregor pacing around and keeping a tab on Max Holloway.

Holloway was fighting Yair Rodriguez and picked up another win, but this move by McGregor got a lot of attention.

It seems unlikely that McGregor could come down the weight classes to face Holloway and Chael Sonnen called McGregor a “weirdo” on his show.

Sonnen, a UFC legend, added that McGregor was acting like a troll, something that he did in the past, but he had to think about Dustin Poirier and stop acting like this since he was a father and a husband.

McGregor, however, wasn’t all that pleased with this remark and called Sonnen a “broke weirdo”.

Sonnen might have retired from the sport a while back, but he still had a warning for the Irishman. The American also took a shot at McGregor’s whiskey, something that irked McGregor.

The Irishman hit back at Sonnen and claimed that his YouTube shows weren’t all doing that well.

Sonnen had another parting shot at McGregor and told him to leave an apology while exiting, which the former champion acknowledged, it seemed.

McGregor certainly has been calling out a lot of people despite not being fighting fit. His injury is one concern but McGregor’s form has been another problem.

He has lost to Poirier twice, but the third fight ended rather quickly after McGregor broke his ankle.

It is to be seen when the Irishman returns, and as Sonnen claimed in the video, he is still one of the UFC’s biggest draws.
