Conor McGregor posted a clip of himself executing his unique shoulder strikes move on Dustin Poirier and Donald Cerrone
Conor McGregor is an exponent of modern mixed martial arts. The Irishman was an immovable force during the mid-2010s.
Known for his exceptional striking abilities, McGregor brought out swift hands and feet coupling them with unique techniques.
One such innovating move was the shoulder strikes he brought during his short fight with Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January 2020.
McGregor finished Cerrone in just 40 seconds, but made sure that his shoulder strikes were an effective weapon in such a short span of time.
A year later, he brought out the same against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 as well.
Highlighting the goodness of the shoulder strikes, McGregor posted a clip of the same, before going on to explain how well he executed it.
“Ping Pong”, McGregor wrote on Twitter.
He then went on to explain:
“These are all tasty but there is something real tasty about the last two. The second last one the placement of the shoulder bone right under the nose bone to push it up into the skull hahaha then the last one playing ping pong with the head and the back fence. Art.”
