Conor McGregor posted a video of himself training, explaining how McGregor FAST gloves have improved his game.
‘The Notorious’ is set to take on Dustin Poirier in a trilogy bout on the 10th of July at UFC 264. The Irishman is determined to exact revenge and go 2-1 up in the trilogy. Plus, a win might also earn him a title shot against the winner of Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira.
McGregor has been training rigorously of late, often posting videos of himself on social media working out religiously.
The Irishman’s ‘boxing game’ is pretty good, as the world got to witness it in August 2017, when he put on a good ‘lion-hearted’ fight against the indomitable Floyd Mayweather.
Barring suits and whiskey (now sold), McGregor has his own training program as well; called the McGregor FAST (Fighter Aerobic / Anaerobic System of Training). McGregor FAST also has a dedicated training app, and a product line consisting fighting gears.
McGregor recently took to Twitter, wherein he posted a video of himself training with his new FAST gloves, claiming that his hands have been ‘rock-solid’ ever since he switched his old boxing gloves with the FAST ones.
He tweeted:
“Since switching out my old boxing gloves for these @McGregorFast gloves my wrists and hands have been rock solid!”
Justin Gaethje hits back at ‘garbage’ Conor McGregor gloves
McGregor recently launched his own line of MMA gloves called the McGregor FAST MMA fight gloves. Its design was met with a positive response on Twitter.
McGregor then claimed that the design was certainly better than Trevor Wittman’s version of MMA gloves. That was when top-ranked lightweight contender Justin Gaethje fired shots at the Irishman, calling the gloves cheap and garbage.
Gaethje tweeted:
“You didn’t design this you just put your name on someone else’s designs, made for as cheap as possible with shit foam and shit materials. They are garbage and you know it. Make your cheese though.”
