Conor McGregor can’t help but pity Floyd Mayweather for the situation he finds himself in after Jake and Logan Paul clash
Earlier this week, the promo for the boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Logan Paul got a little out of hand.
The two are scheduled to take on each other in a professional boxing bout on June 6, 2021, in Miami on Showtime. And the PR work has already kicked off.
On Thursday, Mayweather and the Paul brothers were at a press conference where things got awry pretty fast. It was all okay when it was between Floyd and Logan.
The two got into an altercation but it was nothing like we haven’t seen before. Things really got out of hand when Jake Paul stepped into the middle.
Fresh off a win against Ben Askren, Paul was probably still on a high when took the call to take Floyd Mayweather’s baseball cap off his head.

There was some real chaos after that, resulting in Jake’s shirt being torn and him catching a punch to his face. Nothing that wasn’t warranted.
But later on, ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor had a few things to say. The UFC icon condescendingly made a remark about what Floyd has been reduced to now as he posted a photo of him with the undefeated ex-champ.
“Hey @leonardellerbe, what the f**k is Floyd at?
The kid curled up, didn’t fight back once, and Floyd is still running around acting the tough guy. The kid actually just pulled this shambles of a situation Floyd is in out of the drain for him. He should thank him. It’s embarrassing! Pro to pro it’s embarrassing. He will not scratch 10m for this fight and he knows it. It was cancelled once already. The world is watching this on Twitter. He’d fight a half decent pro and command 20m upwards, yet its this s**t.
Whatever way you spin this, it’s sad. Fight someone for real, on your record, or f**k off mate. Slap head!”
It seems like McGregor is having a major FOMO. But he’s not wrong; that presser was probably just them trying to create hype consider Logan Paul might generate that kind of money.
That was probably why it was postponed in the first place. Nevertheless, Mayweather would be pretty happy seeing McGregor’s post if he is still interested in a rematch with the Irishman.
The hype and money that fight generated was unprecedent and maybe the two would now want to run it back.
