Conor McGregor might be on his way to becoming a billionaire like Richard Branson someday
Virgin Group founder and multi-billionaire Richard Branson recently made it to the edge of space in his own spacecraft VSS Unity.
The crew consisting of Branson, and astronauts Beth Moses, Sirisha Bandla and Colin Bennet reached the edge of space which is believed to be 86 kilometres, on the 11th of July.
Branson thereby became the first billionaire ever to travel to the edge of space. The crew successfully returned a day later. Branson received widespread accolades from all corners of the world.
Following Branson’s successful venture, Irish MMA superstar Conor McGregor took to Twitter to congratulate Branson. He wrote that Branson proved what sheer determination and imagination can do.
“To the space pioneer who showed what determination and imagination can do! I applaud you my friend!”
A business behemoth himself, McGregor will be hoping to reach the heights of Richard Branson one day.
Conor McGregor just underwent surgery
Conor McGregor suffered a disappointing loss at the hands of Dustin Poirier in his trilogy fight in the main event of UFC 264.
The fight came to an abrupt end, after McGregor broke his ankle at the end of the first round. Poirier was declared the winner via. TKO due to a doctor stoppage.
McGregor was then taken to the hospital, and was operated on. Yesterday, he took to Twitter to share an update that he was out of the surgery room, and will soon be beginning recovery.
The Irishman stated that he would need just 6 weeks to recover, and get back up and running.
There have been talks of a quadrilogy fight against Poirier, but that would materialize only if the ‘Diamond’ is ready for it.
