Conor McGregor posted a Tweet which had a screengrab of Khabib Nurmagomedov seemingly looking scared during the bus attack back in 2018
Conor McGregor will never go tired of firing shots at his rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.
However, this time it was Khabib who started things off.
There was a recent incident in Russia where a group of Dagestanis beat up a Russian man who came to the aid of a girl in the Moscow metro.
The Russian guy was awarded the Valor and Courage medal.
Referencing the same, Khabib posted a story on Instagram, sharing a photo of McGregor with the quote (translated via. combatalk): “Where is my medal from Bastrykin? I was also beaten by Dagestanis in a crowd!”
This did not sit well with McGregor as he took to Twitter to share an image of Khabib looking seemingly scared during the bus attack by McGregor and his crew.
McGregor captioned the now-deleted tweet:
“Bastrykin! Where is Khabib’s “shit in his pants medal”? He need this for shit his pants 10 rows back.”
The Conor McGregor bus attack took place in April 2018 ahead of UFC 223.
On hearing that Khabib had confronted his teammate and dear friend Artem Lobov, McGregor and crew surrounded the bus carrying Khabib and others, and began hurling heavy objects at the bus.
The incident left several fighters injured and scarred. It made Khabib angrier than ever, and he vented it all out at UFC 229, 6 months later.
