Conor McGregor took to Twitter to address the turmoil Manchester United are currently in
Manchester United are in dire straits. Having gotten off to a good start they have been hit back with defeat after defeat.
Their recent 5-0 defeat against Liverpool at Old Trafford had the fanbase unanimously wanting their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked.
They were not ready to see a team this good on paper perform so poorly.
An Ole sacking looks imminent with Antonio Conte and Zinedine Zidane named as potential successors.
The Red Devils’ recent poor performance had popular Manchester United fan, Conor McGregor worried as well.
Taking to Twitter he addressed the issue explaining how there was no proper leader at the helm.
While he did acknowledge what OGS has done for the club, he felt he just wasn’t the right man.
McGregor’s Tweet read:
“The issue at United is it’s just bunch of youngfellas talking to each other. Peers. You need some one above the group chat to take the helm. Ole was on the bench when Ronaldo played. A peer. Not enough. Love and respect Ole to the max but his role needs rearranged. My opinion.”
Although, talks of a sacking have been rife, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to stay at Old Trafford, at least until their next match against Tottenham Hotspur.
However, OGS’s job is nowhere close to being safe – even a loss against Spurs might spell doom for the gaffer.
United take on Spurs on the 30th of October.
