Conor McGregor stares down Max Holloway from his home
Conor McGregor certainly knows how to grab the headlines by any means possible. The former UFC champion has managed to to do that yet again. During the fighter announcement of the UFC Vegas 42’s main event between Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez, McGregor was seen sizing up his former opponent.
McGregor posted a video of himself staring down Holloway as if he was present inside the octagon. Take a look at the Twitter post made by the Notorious One:
In the video, McGregor can be seen walking back in forth in his living room while having an intense staredown with the Blessed. It seems like the Irish is eyeing up a rematch with Holloway. In a recently deleted tweet, McGregor took a dig at Holloway who claimed to be the best boxer in the UFC. Have a look at what he said:
“Best boxer my a** crack. The guys been smacked the most smacks in ufc history! Most shots absorbed is not best boxer guys I’m sorry, and I love the kid.”
McGregor as usual was backing himself in the tweet, however, he ended up deleting it just hours later.
Will Conor McGregor face Max Holloway again?
While the smack talk has already started, it is hard to imagine that McGregor and Holloway will meet in the octagon again, at least for now. Holloway has a potential title shot lined up in front of him against Alex Volkanovski after beating Rodriguez.
On the other hand, the former UFC lightweight champion is still recovering from his foot injury that he suffered in the trilogy against Dustin Poirier.
